Manly Beach

Last week a few of us (Ben, Kara, Luke, Shaun, Olivia, Andrew, Joanna, Liza, and another guy from Mac Uni and myself went to Manly beach on Friday night after Power House. It was such a perfect night to go and it was such a perfect time to see the sunrise. Sadly to say, we didn't get to do it because everyone wanted to go home EARLY!!! Oh well...some other time then. It was a fun night. Joanna, Olivia and myself ride with Andrew.

We spent the whole journey to Manly playing "get to know you" game and gosh! we spent like 10 minutes or even more guessing Andrew's age. He kept on tricking us telling us that he is 19 then later he told us he is 35. We kept on guessing. We got the right answer but he kept on denying it. Sigh...boys! Anyways, we meet up with Shaun at Oporto's (Shaun's favorite) and chatted for a bit. Then the girls went crazy on the beach. Liza, Joanna and Ben played paper, scissor, rock in the water I think (can't really see it was too dark). The sand was cold but according to Liza and Joanna, the water was warm. Shaun took us home. It was a quiet ride home and Shaun was bagging me out about watching dvds and stuff. Well if you are reading this Shaun, besides watching dvds and tv eps, I do read, clear up stuff for garage sale and pack my bags ya know! OH! and spend time with God as well which is a very important thing!

I did "Have a Go" in Asian church last Saturday. I was so nervous that I actually practiced the sermon to Lydia, Xing Qi, Joanna, Mervin and Liza again and again at home hahaha. They got so bored of my sermon. Oh well, practice makes perfect right? I kept on praying and asking God for strength and confidence. One thing though, I must thank Ben (I bet Ben is flying high up in the sky now or even being cheeky hahaha). He told me about passion. He said if I have passion, I can do it. It encourages me big time and gosh when I grab hold of the microphone and stood in front of the congregation, I felt God was just speaking right through me. He is just so awesome. I hope my sermon encourages all of you. After church, Paul, Liza, Joanna and I went to pancakes at the rocks for dinner. Gosh! I haven't been there since July! HAHAHAHA! I just enjoyed my pancakes so much! YUM! We took a drive to Paul's favorite spot Hermitage something. We spent about 20 minutes or so there and I got mozzies bite all over my leg. Grrr.... The scenery was beautiful. The moon and the clouds was just gorgeous. If only I have a camera there and then. We wook a ride to Bondi. I finally saw Bondi beach BUT I would love to be there, walk along the beach someday! We got home at about 4 a.m. Hehehe it was a crazy weekend.

9 more days till mom and sis arrive! I am so pumped! Finally I have mom to cook for me hee hee! Home cook food is the best!
