V-Day @ Genting Highlands

It was Valentine's Day over the weekend and a bunch of us decided to go to Genting Highlands. There was supposed to be a bunch of us going but most of them decided to pull out at the very last minute and left us 3. We went to Kepong for lunch. According to Vincent, the chicken rice near his place is one of the best which I must agree. People had to queue up for it. After that we started our journey and reach Genting at 1 p.m. Due to the occasion, we waited for more than 2 hours to get our rooms in First World. It was so crowded and finding a place to sit is a challenge. During that 2 hours or so, we went for coffee in Starbucks and bought our movie tickets.

In the evening, we went to Terrace for buffet dinner. This restaurant is famous for it's buffet and the queue was long even though it was only 6 p.m. It's pure madness!

Us waiting in line for our dinner

Instead of paying full price, we were given 30% discount thanks to a gym member that gave us a bunch of coupons. Due to V-Day, I was given a rose on the way in and there's a lucky draw for every table. We were one of the lucky winners that won more vouchers!

My rose and I

We won!!!

On our way out, we were asked to leave a mark by writing some wishes on the huge board at the entrance. We being naughty, decided to scribble some stuff rather than all the lovey dovey messages. A little damages to the purpose was all we did. (HA! HA! HA!)

Reuniting the gyms...

The weather was perfectly cold and it was just perfect to chill outdoor for a moment before going back to our rooms to rest for a while. Our movie was at 1:30 a.m. and never again will I watch a movie at this hour. Its a little torturing, trying to keep your eyelids open and trying to focus. Trust me, we practically crashed after the movie.

We came back to KL the next day ending our trip with with a brunch at PappaRich. Even though it's a very short trip but it was really fun!
