Last night 18 of us went to the city to celebrate Cindy's birthday. (Happy birthday girl!) We went to Nove Cucina located at Wharf road for dinner. It was a very beautiful restaurant and since there were so many of us, we get the whole mezzanine floor to ourselves. Food from tomato bruschetta, eggplant bruschetta, pasta, pizzas were part of our meal for the night. My so called neighbor - friend BEN KHOO! You are such a snoob coz you didn't say hi to me or anything (I have to mention BEN because he ask me too hahaha...HI BEN!). Nevertheless, it was a night of celebration with good friends, good food and great fellowship.
Joe took me to a couple of spots to see Sydney's night view after dinner. We went to St. Mary's Cathedral which I find rather spooky because it was rather dark and one of the statue looks like Batman from far. I kid you not! We also went to Mrs. Macquarie Point to see the view of the Harbour bridge and the opera house. It was breathtaking. A piece of advice is to ensure you have enough warm clothing going to these places during winter especially at night. It was freezing!
We tried to take some pictures but failed because we did not have a tripod with us. 2 more stops before we went home - opera house. We managed to take a walk towards the opera house to enjoy the harbour bridge scenery. Lastly, we drove to the Rocks to look around.
We manage to get home in time to catch the rest of the F1 race. We were very disappointed that Raikonnen crashed 1 lap before the race ended. Joe being a Webber fan was disappointed that his favorite driver crashed early of the race. Oh well....at least Barrichello is 3rd on the race (HEE HEE).
I have been on thinking mode for the past couple of days. Been thinking about what would my life be when I am back in Malaysia; what would happen to all the people that I know here? Will we still keep in touch? Will we still be good friends like we are now? The though of leaving is getting harder by the day. The longer I stay, the harder it is for me to say goodbye. Friends that I have been doing life here has been asking me not to leave after I've graduated. I don't really know because I am not sure if I would want to do 3rd year. There are too many things that I need to think about in order to make the decision. As much as I really hate to leave a bunch of really good friends here and move on to another set of journey it's a decision that is not for me to decide but the Lord's. We shall see where He leads in days to come.
