Sometimes I do wonder why certain girls takes longer time to do stuff compared to any other people. For example...Why girls take up so much time to get ready? Like honestly, lately I kinda get annoyed when I am being asked to wait 5 minutes in order for girls to get ready. But 5 minutes always ended up 10 to 15 minutes. I have become impatient in stuff like this. I guess one of the things that I dislike is that I want to try to be on time but many of times I am dragged by other people and that causes me to be late. Seriously, I am ALWAYS late when I am back in Malaysia. Ask my friends. Sometimes I just get too lazy to drive or I just want to sleep in and rather be late. Hahaha..I know my bad. But I am trying to change the habit and I think I am doing a pretty good job here. I just get annoyed because I do not know how to rush people and make sure they get ready on time; I do not know how to tell people that I really need to leave that instant moment, instead I give in and show some grace. I mean showing grace is good...but when people take you for granted then it is not anymore.
Well I am a girl too. But I do not take like more than 1 to 1 1/2 hours to get ready. Even if it is special occasion, max I would take will be 45 minutes to an hour but that is IF it is a special occasion (getting people to do your hair, make up, dress whatever). I get my make up done in like 5 (maximum 10 minutes), hop in the shower say (10 minutes or 15 depends whether I wash my hair or not) and get dress, and go out. That is like less than 30 minutes. I think that by knowing how long you take to get ready, it would be wise to get up earlier and use the time that you have to get ready.
Shopping...oh man...besides me being obsessed with shoes here (Joe thinks that I have too many shoes and it's hard to buy shoes in Malaysia); I find that girls can shop!!! I mean seriously shop for hours. I really do not know how they manage to do it. After 1 hour of shopping I get bored. I think the fastest shopping I ever done was 5 minutes. I walked into Giordano with a friend of mine (his name is Aaron). I took the top that I wanted and I paid. 5 minutes later I walk out of Giordano and told Aaron that I am ready to back to church. He was like "what? you got it already? Man! That was fast!" hehehe...not blowing my own trumpet or anything but seriously, I think that when you go shopping, always know what you are looking for. Sometimes I get soooooooo annoyed going shopping with mom. hahaha. That's because mom loves to go to every single store and look at stuff even though the clothes or the things that she is looking at is not her style or something that she would buy. I would just stand there and roll my eyes away and wait patiently for her to finish. Hahaha...I am so not a girlie girl am I? Well, that is the side of me that most of you never know. So the next time if you intend to go for a 2 hour to 3 hours of shopping spree...well I guess you can count me out.
PS: If you find that I get annoyed lately...well maybe because you have been taking too long to get ready OR I am annoyed by other people making me wait for them to get ready especially when I am trying to be on time.
