My church youth have a thing for BBQ steamboat. Talipon seems to be our famous hangout for the past years. Birthdays, farewells, occasion or not, this seems to be the best place to do it. A night of eating our hearts out and I think we ate a lot especially Edmund. By the time all of us are done eating, he is still grabbing food. Truly he is a small dude but a big eater. Located along MRR2 right after Yulek, Talipon has been around for some time. Tshirts and shorts is definitely the best dress code to be here. Avoid sitting inside as you will be covered with grease and the smell of food.
There are variety of marinated meat like lamb, chicken, beef and pork for barbecue and seafood for steamboat. Free flow of desserts and ice cream are provided. Everything is self service. The buffet includes everything except for drinks. So if you are on a budget, iced chinese tea is the best choice.
