Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie

The talk of the town lately is Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie located in banglo around Imbi area. My friend, Zen was telling me about the food here especially the bread. Decided to pay this place a visit together with my a bunch of my best high school girl friends. Parking is limited inside, even with the valet. The way the cars are being parked, it is practically a nightmare. Then again, it doesn't stop people from coming here. Due to limited tables, finding one could be a little tricky. During lunch hour and on weekends, it can take ages to find a table. So if you want to come here, I would suggest to come here before lunch hour or around 10 am on weekends, you might just be lucky in finding a table.

The interior is really warm and comfortable. Besides the usual tables and chairs, there is a small couch area provided inside. Sipping tea and eating your scones on the patio outside makes you feel like home.

After finding a table, customers can then pick your choice of bread, sandwiches or pastries from the bakery. It is pretty much self-service the whole time. Ordering their really nice hot food such as pastas, sandwiches, drinks, soup and cakes are done at the counter together with the payment as well. After ordering and payment, you have to bing your receipt to the drinks counter to collect your drinks while the hot food will be sent to you. Free flow of sky juice are also available at the condiments area.

Here are some of food offered in Levain:

Pesto Tuna Spaghettini: Never tried Tuna Pesto before. Not really used to the taste. But no harm trying it.

Green tea macaroon: Love this but it's too sweet for my liking (I don't have a sweet tooth)

Cream of mushroom: Love this! It's doesn't come from a can and it is really creamy. Lots of mushrooms in it. Worth the money!

Creamy Seafood Spaghettini

Beef Aglio Olio: My favorite pasta at all times in Levain! The beef are tender and the pepper gives a little pinch at the end. Yummy!

Egg & ham: One of Levain's best seller. 1 is just not enough

Breakfast - Beef bacon & egg: freshly toasted bread with eggs (scrambled, poached, sunny side up, however you like it)
