Dutch Invasion @ Melaka

The dutch is back for 24 hours before he heads off to Vietnam/Cambodia. He loves choosing odd hours to come back and fly off. It is also Eli's last weekend here in KL and I've been promising her to go either Melaka or Ipoh for some makan-makan time. So together with my sis and Eli, 4 of us head off to Melaka for a couple of hours.

Eli and sis queuing up for chicken rice ball.

First stop will always be chicken rice ball. Melaka is never complete without having chicken rice ball. The queue was long because it's school holiday period. After food, we walk along Jonker street to burn off some calories before dessert (melaka cendol). The last time Peter and I were here, it was raining so we didn't get to explore the street.

Chopsticks with our surname on it.

For some apparent reason, the dutch managed to find a samurai-umbrella along the stalls. Indirectly he became our "body guard" for the day, walking proudly with his 'samurai sword' at his back.

Eli needed a set of baju kebaya nyonya style, so we stop by at a shop to get it.

Maybe the dutch need one in his closet too?

We came back to town just in time to meet up with the rest of our CT CG members for dinner at Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa in Kg. Baru and also for some Chatime at Viva Mall. We chatted till about 10ish before waking up at 3 a.m. to ship the dutch back to LCCT once again. All I need now is zzzzz...........
