On the way back to my home in Glenwood to get some clean clothes for my stay in Cherrybrook, Ben suggested to go to Manly. Joe, Dan and myself got all excited. We spread the news to the rest but only 5 of us went (Joe, Dan, Ben, Liza and myself). Some decided it was too tiring while some said it's raining (what rain Gigi?)
We started our journey to Manly at about 2:45 a.m. in Joe's parents new car which makes him really particular about getting sand in the car. He didn't even allow us to go near the beach. We reach Manly at about 3:30 a.m. and walked around. There were so many drunk people around who are still in partying mood. Most of the pubs / clubs were closing and getting people out and these people didn't want to go home, so they ended up hanging around the area. Dan had a video camera in his hand and 2 girls call out to him to record them singing while a silly guy pull up his shirt. Crazyyyyyyyy! Since it was still too early to catch the sunrise, we decided to sit in the car and chat because it was too cold.
At about 5:40 a.m (I think), we got down the car and start observing the sky. It was still a bit dark. There were people already jogging on the beach; Ben and Joe trying push Liza and myself over the barrier that we were sitting on (tsk tsk tsk). There is something called Joeyphobia that were created that day. Joeyphobia is when you can't see Joe but you sense that he will sneak up behind you and scare you.
We didn't manage to see the sun because it was cloudy. Dang! Looks like we gotta do it again.
On the way home, the back seat people slept; happily snoring away. We stop by at Mackers for breakfast. Got a few hours of sleep before I was woken up by the sound of Joe working really hard outside (washing all the cars). He even tried to wash mine. LOL!!
Since it was Easter weekend, Delirious! was in town and they were leading the worship for the evening service and we got to church early! I was really inspired by the team and their passion for God. It makes me want to be a history maker just like themeven more (YES JOE! I know the song is old!). After church we went to Nando's @ Towers for dinner. Shaun kept on hassling me because Paul had a dream about me; he told me he rescued me from an elevator.....right....
