Unwell

I have been unwell for the past 1 week. The fever, sore throat, flu and cough bug got the best of me. Being sick while having so much to do is one of the biggest struggle ever in college life. You can't miss college especially when my final semester just started. First week of the semester is the most important week of all because lecturers would pass out the assessment book and assignments. The worst bit is not having the voice to speak and to answer whenever friends asked me for something.

As much as I wish that mom is around to make porridge or herbal tea for me when I'm sick, I am thankful that I was cared for in this foreign land. Joe and Dan was really worried about me to the extend that they drag me to the doctors. When the nurse called my name, Joe quickly ushered me to the consultation room. I know he was very worried. Thanks bro! I owe you one!

There are no such thing as 24 Jam clinics here. In Malaysia, your visit to the doctors will come with medication which cost about RM30 - 40. Here in Australia, after the consultation, you will be given a list of prescription which you need to buy from the pharmacy. The total cost can come up to AUD50 - 60 for consultation, AUD10 - 20 depending on what medicine you need to buy. If possible, try not to get sick because it's very costly.
