Wedding @ Pan Pacific, Singapore

Went to Singapore to attend a friend's wedding sometime in May. LOL! I know it has been some time. My cousin Michelle and her boyfriend Kalter and I drove down to JB (Johor Bahru) and stay overnight in a cheap hotel. We drove in to Singapore at about 10 a.m. after breakfast. After sorting out the tolls, the cards and stuff we checked into our hotel at bugis. A nice hotel I must say. It is not like super high class or whatsoever for a budget hotel it is really nice. Because the dinner is at 7:30 so that leaves us heaps of time to just walk around and look at stuff. We went to the shopping centre in Bugis and I must say it is really hot!!!!

We went to Pan Pacific hotel (where the wedding dinner is held) at about 6 p.m. to meet up with Ivy (the bride). Her suite is just soooo nice; nice view too I must say. We met her hubby Alex as well. Alex is actually a pilot for SIA and Ivy is a stewardess. They actually fly together most of the time. We finally met up with David, Kenny and Veron who was supposed to reach Singapore in the afternoon but they only arrive at around 5 ish because Veron had to get her car fix. We were seated at our table at around 7:15 (well it says that the dinner starts at 7:30) but the ballroom was full on empty! 8 p.m. still empty; 8:30 a little people show up. The dinner started at 9 p.m. I wonder if it is a Singaporean thing to start wedding dinner 1 1/2 hours late! -_-" After the 2nd last dish, I walked to Esplanade to meet up with Mervin, Xing Qi, Sherry, Leonard, Cassilda and Rachel. They were at Harry's having a drink and it is sooooooo good to meet up with them again. It was a good catch up time. Mervin send me back to my hotel.

Get to sleep in the next day, got myself some brunch and went to walk around in Bugis myself because Michelle and Kalter went to Sentosa Island. Mervin picked me up at around 3 p.m. and surprisingly, he took me shopping!!! LOL! We went to Centre point (if not mistaken) and we practically look at shoes, clothes and et cetera. Mervin is really a girl's guy! He knows what a girl wants haha. But sadly to say Mervin I don't usually look at clothes, shoes and those kinda stuff everytime I go out in the mall. I would prefer cds, bags and just walk around. Hehehe. We went for a drink while waiting for Joanna to show up.Lo and behold, Joanna came and met up with us . And because I haven't really been to the east coast of Singapore, Mervin took us to some place at the east coast for dinner. The place was like packed of people and there are so many stalls there. I can't really decide what to eat. And we did eventually get some food of course. DuH! We chatted a lot and catch up and stuff. Its just sooooo nice to be able to hang out with them again! I just miss both of them so much! Though I still do keep in touch with them once in a while but usually I would bug Mervin about stuff. Hahaha. Look at the food we got, chicken wings, noodles, oysters and stuff. Mervin also took us to see his church and he was sharing with us his vision and the land that he hope that one day the church will own it and build something great for the Lord. We also pass by Sherry's and Xing Qi's house. It's really nice. On our way back we went to see 2 of the richest house in Singapore (according to Mervin). I saw it once before during mission trip when Mervin took Xing Qi, Joe and myself to Marina South for dinner. So glad to see the house again. We drop Joanna at Bugis to catch a bus home and then he send me back to my hotel.

I met up with David, Veron and Kenny and we took at cab to Clarke's Quay. We went to Ministry of Sound (Mos) together with 2 of Veron's friend. It was a really cool club! We went into different rooms that plays different kind of music. I find the 80s room really cool but it was really warm and way too packed so we went to the white room. It was really nice. We had a few drinks and I must say vodka + redbull taste good. Try if you are out with some friends hahaha! It's recommended! We chilled and took heaps of photos. Really silly ones so I am not gonna show you those silly ones.

We chilled in Mos till 4:30 a.m. I can't believe I actually stayed up till then and yet still wide awake. We went for breakfast at a food court just across the road from our hotel. The food suxs big time!!! I went to bed at 6 a.m. and gosh! I felt sooo tired when I woke up at later. After brunch, all 6 of us went to reptile farm (trust me please do not go there if you intend to when you are in Singapore; it is sooo not worth your money). Michelle and I came out of the reptile farm really quickly because we got bitten by mosquitoes big time!!! We went for a late lunch at Jurong Point then off we go back to Malaysia. It was long 5 hour drive but being David, Kenny and I had a really good chat in the car. We had dinner with my dad and sister once we reach K.L.
