Took mom out for lunch yesterday after church. We wanted to go to Federal Hotel for buffet but we ended up in Royale Bintang instead. They were having some special celebration (duh!) for mothers. They got like some clown to give out those animal looking balloons too all mothers. I never like clown and balloon in my entire life. The clown gave me a poodle looking balloon...I was like ok....er...thanks. Then...the staff started to give out boxes of chocolates and flowers to mothers and of course; they thought that I was Kenji's mom, they gave me a carnation chocolates too. Do I look qualified to be a mom??
Then, they had lucky draw and surprisingly, they called my name and I won a hamper. Though it may not cost a lot but it's better than nothing right?
So tell me, does Kenji looks like my son?
What did I get for my mom besides bringing her out for lunch? I got her tulips.
I do argue with mom frequently. Our views are very different and many times she would find fault in me. I can say that our personality clashes most of the time. Friends that knows me, know that I always complain about my mom. But whatever it is, she is still my mom. She is the one that gone through a really difficult time to give birth to me (I know because she always reminds me of that). I am still thankful to have her as my mom.
