I found one of the DVD of my life in Sydney; it was footages during Hillsong Conference. I had so much fun working at the sessions recordings together with Joe and Krystle. It was my first time dealing with the cash register and trust me, it's super fun! I remember asking every single Asian that I met whether they are from Malaysia. Yes, I did! I met people from my cousin's church and they know my cousin too! What a small world! Not forgetting we receive a lot of goodies too due to our hard work. The crowd of course was insane!
The worship team was awesome. They brought so much energy on stage whether the crowd is responding or not; the energy and the spirit they brought on stage was just speechless. Someday, I really believe we are able to do that; not being boxed up by traditions or being conservative. But being free and expressing who we are.
Not forgetting the seeing Guy Sebastian live singing "Hosanna". That was absolutely priceless. If you do not know who Guy Sebastian is...well he is the first Australian Idol and he is somewhat half Malaysian or something hahaha. Also seeing Michael W. Smith on stage for about 40 minutes or so leading worship. It's just WOW! The oomph and the energy he brought on stage was priceless too. I was reminded how much I love the song "Healing Rain" by Michael as well. Listening to it again gave me goosebumps all over.
The funniest bit was me carrying my Fitness First bag hahaha! I didn't realize it at all. The shocking bit was I couldn't recognize myself in the DVD. I see how much I've changed and that includes my aussie slang which Marcus always tease me about. And of course remembering Joe always wanting to drive my manual 1988 FORD station wagon. He always drive an AUTO so for him to drive a manual is pretty scary? I also remember teaching Phil to drive my manual car in the middle of the night near our place in Glenwood. Ahh...good memories :D
I wonder when I will be able to go back to Sydney...
