Trip to Melaka

A friend of mine plan this trip for some time. It was a surprise party to celebrate Klev's birthday. Few of us were part of the plan. We left KL at about 10 ish and my stomach was craving for coffee and breakfast. We stop at Air Keroh rest area for a break and food (FINALLY! YAY!). Went for some Malay food and it was not nice at all but oh well..it is still food. The milo kosong was really KOSONG in the sense of taste. Usually the milo kosong in KL taste good but the one here is so dilluted.

It took us so long to check-in because the line is just superbly long. When we finally reach the counter, there were some miscommunication here and there and after a while, we finally did it! Yay! Got our room, get some rest while waiting for our spy to text us. At about 2ish, we were inform of the plan and the room number and all.

Off we went to 15th floor, press the door bell and *Surprise*! We were loud! Hopefully nobody complain about us *hehehe*. Chill for a bit before we head off to the ever famous chicken rice ball shop. Can't get enough of it at all. Did some shopping at Jonker street, bought some stuff and went for cendol and ice kacang and ate some stuff here and there. By evening, we got back to the hotel to freshen up and we drove out for nasi lemak. The nasi lemak is GOOD! After filling our stomach, we went back to Jonker street to experience the night market. So many things to see, so many things that I am tempted to buy and eating was part of the plan too. We got so tired around 10 ish, went back to the hotel to shower and all of us chilled till about 3:30 a.m. zzzzzzz

Next day, after checking out, went to KFC for brunch. YUP! KFC in MELAKA!! Went to the Starbucks at Pahlawan mall coz it's new and the service is really good compared to the one that I went to last time where they made me wait for my drink for more than 10 minutes -_-". The one in Pahlawan mall was so nice...the barista gave me extra 2 shots! My americano turn out to be espresso! It took me ages to finish my coffee hahaha. It was a short trip but it was nice. I wish it was longer because I really needed the break but oh well...can't complain about it. Good company, good food and good times.
