汤师傅 @ 1Utama

Walking around in 1Utama, looking for a place to eat. Saw this place a few times but didn't feel like having such a healthy meal :P Since I just did a detox yesterday, decided to pay this place a visit.

This place serves nourishing soups, mee suah, dumplings, rice and buns. Brown rice lovers will definitely enjoy this place as majority of the dishes are serve with it. Abalone slices, bird nests are part of the menu, that is if you are willing to spend to eat them. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and they are very alert and attentive. They brought us the menu and plate of appetizer once we got our table. Explanation is provided on every dish - whether it is to relax, to detox, to calm and et cetera. Here are the dishes that we ordered that day:-

Guava slices: really appetizing.

Black sesame bun

The filling for the bun

You place the filling into the bun yourself.

Mee Suah with abalone slices, dried scallop and chicken

Stewed pork with rice

The black sesame bun was a little cold; I prefer it steaming hot so that the texture of the bun would be more moist and soft. The meat is tender and nicely spiced. As for the noodles, it is really yummy. The broth is clear but the taste is just nice. Not too strong and you can taste the sweetness of the herbs.

I would love to visit this place again because I love soups :D
