Singapore Day 2

Started the day with breakfast at a food court opposite Golden Mile since we need to meet up with some people around this area. Eli had fish paste noodles while I had pan mee - Singapore version. I am not too sure about Eli's noodles but I definitely dislike mine. It was too bland. Not much taste to be honest and the noodles was overcooked. I still prefer the pan mee in KL :D

We waited for hours because the bus were late. After sorting out everything, Eli and I went over to Raffles Place. We were supposed to go to Raffles City BUT my dear friend, Jay got it all mixed up. Both Eli and myself got a little confused as we were surrounded with office buildings. There were no mall at all! So we asked around and we came to Central Mall after a really long walk under the hot scorching sun.

Came back to Drop Inn later in the afternoon and shifted our stuff to Green Kiwi Backpackers Hostel since Drop Inn is full. We went to Lavender food court which is just across the street for some lunch. They serve really nice pork chop rice and popiah.

Rested in the hostel and to do some work. I also managed to talk to some of the people where we were sharing the dorm with. A Singaporean uncle was staying here because his house was under renovation; a British girl was travelling for months and Singapore was her last stop. After chit chatting for a bit, the Singaporean uncle snored away and he was loud!! I wonder how all of us is gonna sleep tonight! Later in the evening, a big bunch of us went back to Lavender food court for a quick bite before heading to Marina Sand Bay. Since we had our lunch not long ago, we decided to have dessert instead.

Eli find the dessert boy is cute :p Traffic to Marina Sand Bay was rather busy but we manage to be there. Though we couldn't go up to the pool but we managed to walk around.

The mug may seem big; content is not much but it is strong! At least it kept 2 of us awake the whole night. We tried 2 different type of sandwiches. Both taste really good.
