Canoodling (again!)

I was talking to a few of my friends just a couple of days ago about this place and since today is a public holiday due to Agong's birthday, I've decided to bring a bunch of them to pay this place a visit. There were 9 of us altogether and we had one long stretch of table to ourselves. Thanks to the mahjong paper and the crayons that were provided, we ended up playing Pictionary while waiting for our food. After all, youth being youth...filling every time with some activities.

Since there were 9 of us, this time I get to try a few more variety of food from this place.

Apple, Elderflower & Lychee Frostie: Very refreshing and you get to taste the pulp from the apple.

Fried Wantons: Crispy and delicious. The filling is made of really nice fish paste, very different from others.

Pan Mee: The noodles are very different from the normal Pan Mee I had. It was a lot softer rather than springy. A lot of anchovies were given but it was too salty till it cover the taste of the noodles.

Vietnamese Chicken Salad: Fell in love with this salad. Romaine lettuce mixed with apple, chicken slices, cucumber and a very creamy peanut sauce. (highly recommended)

Duck Confit Laksa: Charcoal noodles mixed with dry laksa with duck and lychee. Strong spices but it taste good. A little shocked when we saw the noodles were black!

Lou Shu Fun

I had my usual Curry Laksa which never fails me at all. It is so addictive. But after this visit, the Vietnamese Chicken truly caught my attention. The waiters were really friendly and efficient this time. They definitely are doing a very good job! Once again, Canoodling never fail to impress me.
